1. Who We Are

Kloned is operated by Asio Services. We can be reached at hello@getkloned.com. This policy describes how we collect and use personal data when you use the Kloned platform at getkloned.com.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data: email address, name (optional), authentication tokens.
• Content DNA: the creative profile you write or generate via the wizard — stored to power AI script generation.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, pipeline job history — used to improve the product.
• Billing data: subscription status and payment method details processed by Stripe. We do not store raw card numbers.
• Public social media metadata: video titles, view/like/comment counts, upload dates from TikTok and YouTube — accessed via official APIs to provide content analysis. We do not collect private user data from these platforms.

3. TikTok Data Usage

Kloned uses the TikTok Research API to access publicly available video metadata for content creators you add to your workspace. Specifically:

• We query video titles, view counts, like counts, comment counts, share counts, and upload dates for public TikTok accounts.
• This data is used solely to provide analytics and inspiration features within your Kloned workspace.
• We do not sell, license, or share TikTok data with third parties.
• We do not use TikTok data for advertising or tracking purposes.
• TikTok data is retained only as long as you maintain the associated creator in your workspace. Deleting a creator removes their sourced video data.
• Our use of TikTok data complies with TikTok's Developer Terms of Service and Research API terms.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, operate, and improve the Kloned service.
• To authenticate your account and send transactional emails (OTP codes, billing receipts).
• To generate AI-powered scripts and content tailored to your DNA profile.
• To calculate usage metrics and enforce plan limits.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Anthropic / OpenAI — AI generation (your DNA profile and video content may be included in prompts).
• Microsoft Azure — cloud hosting and database infrastructure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@getkloned.com. We will delete your data within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@getkloned.com.

8. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication (NextAuth.js). We use Microsoft Clarity for session recording and analytics. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication uses passwordless OTP with JWT tokens signed with a secret key. We do not store passwords.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes by email. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
